The South Central Solid Waste Authority (SCSWA) is the City of Las Cruces and Doña Ana County agency responsible for managing your garbage and recyclables. We manage: •Corralitos Landfill •Amador Avenue Transfer Station •The Recycling Center (Amador Ave.) •Almost 40 Las Cruces Public Schools recycling drop-off sites •8 County sites that accept solid waste (garbage) and recyclables •Provide solid waste service for the City of Sunland Park •Provide solid waste and recycling services for Truth or Consequences The SCSWA provides solid waste management services to south central New Mexico (Las Cruces and Doña County) that include: •Collection, transport, and disposal of waste •Recycling collection services •Waste reduction and recycling education •Cleanup of illegal dump sites © 2020
